President Donald Trump went viral on Monday morning when he had McDonald’s delivered via DoorDash
to the Oval Office, where he highlighted the benefit of no tax on tips for American workers.
The woman was wearing a “Door Dash Grandma” shirt and told the president that his NO TAX ON TIPS legislation has saved her $11,000 in taxes this year, as her husband goes through cancer treatment.
“I want to thank you for the No Tax on Tips. It has helped my family out immensely, and I definitely appreciate it,” the woman told reporters.
During the delivery, Trump touted the One Big Beautiful Bill and No Tax on Tips for American workers.
In a more serious moment, the president spoke about the conflict with Iran.
“Iran will NOT have a nuclear weapon, and we’re going to get the dust back. We’ll get it back. We’ll get it back from them, or we’ll take it!” Trump said.
“I can tell you that we’ve been called by the other side. They’d like to make a deal, very badly,” he added.
President Trump earlier on Monday morning said that he would blow up any Iranian ships that tried to break his new blockade. The president added that any boats that tried to break it would be “ELIMINATED” in the same way that his administration blew up boats from South America that were thought to be carrying drugs.
In a post on Truth Social, the president shared the news just 23 minutes after he blocked the Strait of Hormuz at 10:00 a.m. ET.
“Iran’s Navy is laying at the bottom of the sea, completely obliterated – 158 ships. What we have not hit are their small number of, what they call, ‘fast attack ships,’ because we did not consider them much of a threat,” Trump posted. “Warning: If any of these ships come anywhere close to our BLOCKADE, they will be immediately ELIMINATED, using the same system of kill that we use against the drug dealers on boats at Sea.”
